Joining the Parliamentary Candidates Association

The PCA is the official organisation representing the interests of ALL our parliamentary candidates.

Whether you plan to stand for Westminster, the European Parliament, the Scottish Parliament, the Welsh Assembly or the London Assembly, the PCA will provide you with the training, the information and the support that you need.

Members of the PCA receive the following benefits:

• Training and skills development
• Briefings with party policy advisers
• Mentoring for new candidates
• Meetings with the Party Leader
• Regular issues of Parliamentary Campaigner
• Campaign briefings during elections
• Social events at the Party Conference
• An annual reception at the House of Commons

Membership of the PCA is open to all approved candidates for the Westminster Parliament, European Parliament, Scottish Parliament, Welsh Assembly and London Authority.
The PCA also welcomes those who are applying for approval as candidates, and any other Party members who support the aims of the PCA.
To join the PCA, please complete and return the form on the back of this leaflet. The annual subscription costs £30 if paid by cheque and £25 if paid by standing order.

That’s why the Party Leader, the Party Chairman, the Party President, and many other parliamentarians support the PCA.

They know that if we are to grow our representation in our national and European parliaments and assemblies, we need to nurture the next generation of candidates.

The PCA exists to help every candidate do their best, whichever seat they fight. As a
member of the PCA, you will be a member of the group that is forging the future of the Liberal Democrat party.
